Annika was invited to meet Aidan's father, and she reunited her parents with Brietta, who they had not seen for 16 years. Aidan saved Annika.Īnnika made the wand and defeated Wenlock, saving everyone in the kingdom and her sister. Aidan assisted Annika in building the wand, and they fell in love after she changed his outlook on the situation he was in. Annika and Brietta went on a quest to build the Wand of Light, and met a man named Aidan in the Forbidden Forest. Rayla told Annika to build the Wand of Light in order to defeat Wenlock. She became determined to find a way to save them and her people, and break the spell over her sister, too.
She immediately felt sorry for telling her parents that it wasn't fair that they were taking her ice skates away and she felt bad that she had said that they did not understand anything and that they were ruining her life because she understood that there was a good reason for them doing that. Annika realized that this was why her parents had always been so desperate to protect her, because they were worried that Wenlock would come after her too.
Annika was taken to Cloud Kingdom, a majestic kingdom in the sky, and she was introduced to Queen Rayla.Īnnika discovered that Brietta was her sister, and that she had been turned into a pegasus by Wenlock. Wenlock gave Annika 3 days to agree to marry him, otherwise, everyone in the kingdom would remain statues forever. Annika and Shiver were then rescued by a pegasus named Brietta. In return, Wenlock then turns everyone in the kingdom into stone statues. Wenlock proposes to Annika but she rejects him. This left Annika very upset and she accused her parents of ruining her life before running to her bedroom.Īnnika snuck out again with Shiver to join the villagers who were ice skating together in the town square, but she's approached by Wenlock. Annika was yelled at for sneaking out because her parents wanted her to stay at home all day. When Annika came home, she secretly brought a polar bear with her, and named her Shiver. On Annika's 16th birthday, she snuck out to go ice skating, so her mother raised awareness that she had gone missing. Although she loved her parents, Annika grew frustrated with the way her parents sheltered her, telling her never to leave the castle without them and behaving in an over-protective manner.
Annika was raised in her parents' castle in the farthest corner of the kingdom - she was lead to believe she was their only child and didn't discover she had an older sibling until she was sixteen.
